Verizon announced one other 4G community expansion at present and increased its LTE protection to blanket 337 markets within the US. Beginning July 19, the service will add LTE protection to 33 new markets which includes:

Meadville and Punxsutawney/DuBois/Clearfield, Pa.
Orangeburg, S.C.
Sherman/Denison, Texas
Cedar Metropolis and Logan, Utah
Rutland/Bennington, Vt.

Verizon additionally expanded coverage in 32 existing markets and is the main supplier of 4G LTE within the US. It eclipses AT&T, which has coverage in forty seven markets, and Dash, which just lit up its LTE in its first official 15 markets earlier this week. Verizon hopes to continue to expand its coverage to achieve four hundred new markets by the end of 2012
